The list is getting smaller :p

================

what I roll currently...

================

I'm really liking the familiar siping of the Nitto trail grappler's
tread block design... in comparison to the KMII's ^
*think it comes in a 10 ply as well... hmmm

but I still can't decide :flipoff4:

Lol that's quite a selection, cheap and expensive ones... I'll help you narrow it down a little I don't think you can get the Goodyear mtr's like that anymore.

Nah... just got me a set of bling alloys for the parade route
thought maybe I'd try something different...
Don't like the tread on them kevlars
Prolly just end up getting another set of the KMII's

Good to see you've got it narrowed down to only a couple, lol.

I wouldnt mind trying on a few of those shoes either... Loved my toyo mts. They are fairly wide and heavy though, great for snow.

Nokian makes great tires. I've run them before on small SUVs. I didn't know they made larger truck sizes. The Vativa looks interesting, and it sounds like female parts,.......which is cool :cool:

When I'm pissed I do :D

They may make the bigger sizes, I just haven't seen them. I haven't really looked for them though.

^ added to the list...

thought I had them on muh list. hmmm

How loud ? Louder then the KMII's ?

Was down at PepBoys today...
and they are selling them, so I got to see them in person.
Look to be a fairly tough tire and worthy of further evaluation. :)

The tires I have are made by Cooper and similar to the STT. I absolutely love them. I'll be getting the same thing next time. Did you look at the ST Maxx? They've got pretty beefy sidewalls. Cooper makes good stuff. Cooper makes all the Mickey Thompson, and Cepek tires too.

those seem more like an AT to me...
and I was looking for a little more bite.

but hey... I wouldn't disregard them... if the price were right ;)

Maxxis bighorns, one of the best bang for the buck tires i've ever owned. It's just too bad they don't make them in a 37" size or I would have bought a third set.

Yeah, the ones I have are designated MT, but I would call them an AT.

Had the KM2's and they didn't hold up well. Then MTR kevlar and loved them. Just recently got PitBull Rockers and I am super impressed.

i ran two sets of Cooper STTs and now on my 2nd set of KM2s...

at high speed prerunning through the sharp rocks, the STTs were great and the sidewall was strong, but on streets, after 20,000 miles, they got loud...

the KM2s have a much more subtle hum to them after 30,000 miles, but not as noticeable as the Coopers...

i ran one set of Destination MTs and they were great aired down, but the sharp rocks kept chunking them up, but on streets, they were relatively mild in noise...

hahaha.. yah, barely alive these days... literally...

im freaking fighting kidney disease right now...

i have to say my fave is the KM2 as they don't chunk up at all when i barrel up rocky hills that my prerunner has no business trying to tackle on... hahah...

price-wise, the STTs are a really close 2nd...

the Firestones were pretty good for no siping, but in the rain on streets, i had to air down to 25psi to keep from sliding... in the rocks, they grabbed quite well though...
