I don't have the manual for my '04 Tacoma. What is the Overdrive for...do I drive with it engaged at all times, or keep it off? I'm new so take it easy on me!

turn it off going up hills if the tranny starts shifting in and out all the time. Or if you don't want to ride your brakes going down a grade. If you aren't towing or going over hills just leave it on.

I push the OD button at higher rpm's...i like to use it like a manual so-to-speak...IMO, under 50mph=OD off, over 50=OD on...but sometimes it varies...just depends on how you like to drive I guess.
