When I disengage my parking brake, the light stays on unless I jiggle the handle several times. Is there an easy way to adjust the limit switch? I will crawl under there tomorrow to look at it but if anyone has any experience please let me know.

It's probably the cable underneath gunked up with crap. A little WD40 or something will probably help.

The brake fluid resevoir sensor might also be in need of adjustment. Or your brake fluid could be low as well.

The brake fluid is fine. The problem is that when I release the parking brake, the limit switch is not being closed. I'm wondering if there is a way to adjust it.

My PBL came on and I added brake fluid and it went off for a little while. It still comes on every now and then.

There is a limit switch and it's suprisingly sensitive.. get under there and give it a good clean, etc..
