[Mike-in-WV]

Anyone know where the PCV valve is on the 01 2.7 ? Can't find anything that looks like the ones I'm used to. There is a metal housed unit that looks like it could be but never seen one like that before. It has the name 'Densco" on it and some numbers but it doesn't say PVC anywhere. Thanks for any info you guy's may have, Mike

Well I was gonna post a pic for ya.........but it appears I'm too stupid. So I'll just tell ya where it is; it is on the back side of the valve cover where a big vacume hose connects to the cover.

Thanks John, I'll see if I can find it. I'm the one who feels stupid here I have done all kinds of work on this truck because I like to keep it in top shape so you would think, that I could find a little well known valve, Lol. Mike

the pcv valve screws in on the back/top of the valve cover...the olders ones just popped in a rubber grommet,the newer ones don't,they are threaded into the valve cover like a bolt..cost like $4 at the dealer.

Thanks guy's , I think I found it. It has a big hose leading to it or I should say a big foam rubber hose that covers the smaller hose and the Valve is metal instead of plastic on mine.
