Is there such a thing as a traditional plastic/ composite/ fiberglass roller fairlead? If so, can somebody post up a link?

Anybody else thought about this?

Thanks for the link. :)

I googled "plastic, composite, carbon fiber" roller, and fairlead and did not come up with anything. The closest I could get was ordering heavy duty plastic rollers for conveyer belts and the like.

I would make one if I havd o, but don't see the point if its already produced.

I have no first hand experience with synthetic winch line, but its the direction I am going to go this time because weight is an issue for a reciever mounted winch. I like the idea of a plastic or teflon covered roller fairlead to reduce synthetic winch line failure over a non roller fairlead in regards to side pulls. Having talked with people whom have used it a lot for 20+ years, they say that often times its the internal friction over the edge of something that usually causes failure not the edge itself. If this is true, then a roller fairlead would expand that edge and make the corner a little easier underload.

Anyways that was the direction I was thinking, and why I asked the question.
