[Tacoma Jake]

Recently got a 2018 TRD sport. I've noticed a loud metal pop noise under the cab, sometimes very loud, other times moderately loud. Only happens every once in a while. As far as I can tell, it is louder when the rpms are higher. It almost has a springy tone to it. I think everytime I've heard it I was on the throttle, or just letting off. Sometimes sounds like its coming from driverside, and sometimes sounds like passenger. My thought is probably u-joint or driveline related. I'll be checking underneath the truck tomorrow when its light out, just thought I'd see what you guys thought before. Thanks.

Too vague and not enough of a pin point to give any certainty to the source. Popping wouldn't likely be driveshaft or ujoints. Likely axle or suspension related.
