I was wondering if anyone had an outlet set up like in the bed of a new tacoma. So, you could plug in household items. I know you would have to at least run an inverter with it to convert it. Anybody have this or seen anything like it or know how to achieve this? :welder:

Just buy a good inverter and wire it up. The 05 one is only 400 watts. You can buy much better than that, for less. And if you feel froggy, put your own outlet in the bed. There should be a way to retrofit the recepticle in the bed of the 05 into earlier models..... sawsall mabye??? I was thinking about doing it before the 05 came out and using a plug from a ford sport-trac. They have a weatherproof bed mounted power outlet too...
