Who is running the Inline finned Morosso power steering cooler like this one?
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MOR-41200&N=115&autoview=sku

Did you just plumb it inline on the non-pressure side of the pump and run high pressure rubber oil line up to the front and back like a AT cooler?

Are there any issues associated with a drop in pressure due to installing this thing. I know that increased fluid capacity and a drop in temp are a benefit.

Where are you guys mounting this thing, Pics?

Thanks in advance. :)

Im sure you could use any oil type cooler that you could fit. I like this one b/c of its size and ease of mounting. Also it looks like a quality unit and other seem to run it.

Exactly. I've had no issues at all, I forget its there (that reminds me I need to spray it off :) ). Mine is mounted just behind my BullBar on a coresupport member. This pic is before the area got armored in.

Do you have to use this specific cooler for a power steering unit? I notice it's $70+ and I was wondering if you can just use a small tranny cooler? Although, the design of that one is a bit nicer and the integrated filter is also quite nice.
Naw, you can use any cooler/heat exchanger you like. Most go with this Moroso because its small, tough, effective, and easy to mount in odd spots

I spent the money for this cooler after I replaced pump number 3. It also has a filter system. I installed pump 4, fulshed with synthetis fluid, mounted cooler/filter, and no more p/s issues.

Yep, just plumb the low pressure side.
