So I'm debating on changing out my 6" KC Daylighters for some 8" Pro Comp 130's. I really like the KC's but they just don't seem to fit my bumper very well. I was going over some old pictures from the previous owner of my bumper where he had 8" 130's mounted and they seem to look a lot better. My question is, what kind of difference can I expect between the Daylighters and the 130's? My Daylighters are 100watt with 200,000 candlepower, any idea what the candlepower is on the Pro Comps? Would you recommend a different light?

Here is what the KC's look like on my truck right now:

And the previous owner with the Pro Comps:

I have the 6" daylighters and installed the 130W bulbs and that made a huge difference. Try that first. On my old truck, I didn't need my headlights at all when I was running the 130W bulbs (fog pattern lens) but obviously had to to keep Johnny Law happy. You can't beat KC's warranty policy too!

I really like how bright the KCs are right now but 130w bulbs sounds interesting. My main thing is their size compared to the entire bumper. The 8" Pro Comps just look a whole lot better than the 6" KCs. I just don't want to change out lamps if what I'm really doing is downgrading.

How about the LiteForce 170's
They're almost 7" diameter...

And since you need that big look

Blitz 240's if you got the room (9") ;)...

Damn I like mine... :p

I opted for the "more is better look" ... :D

Oh that's peanuts for two lights...

Now the 240 HID's @ $798.67/pr

That'll take a bite outta the ole bank account... LOL

I got mine thu FlyingWil @ Sierra Expeditons

These were well worth the monies paid...
The fact that they are adjustable... and put out some serious light... Makes them like no other...

Also the fact that they're shotgun proof... is a big plus over glass lenses...

I voted on "Other" Light Force is the best that you can buy IMO. Allthough I sell them I also sell WARN, PIAA, and HELLA's. Hands down LightForce makes some of the best lights around.

Thanks for the info, Wil! Amazing demonstration video there. That convinced me to go ahead and get some of those.

Guess this all came at the right time for me. I just bought a set of Lightforce 240's from a member here on the boards (xcmountain80).
