Push to start
Hi guys, trying to start a new project here and I want ALL of you to help out and put your two cents in!
I've been doing some research as to what it would take to put a push to start on our truck with an alarm system and alarm features like glass breakage, motion sensor, and shocking sensor, and features such as windows roll up and down with key fob, mirror fold in and out as truck locks and unlocks, ignition start, and auto entry and auto lock proximity.
Seems like the EasyGo system has made one specially for our truck but it doesn't specify if it needs extra modules for window roll up ect. Ignition modules, or if it comes with wiring harness. It also doesn't say much about steering lock and what to do with the existing plastics and hardware in the ignition.
The AK-104B looks nice and I like the idea of the proximity lock and unlock but it doesn't seem to have the ability to add other features such as windows roll up etc.. On the web page forums looks like they're working on a new version of the system seem that it was gonna be the AK-105b but was never release and now it seems like they dropped everything to start something they keep calling BIG...
The iKey RS seems to be a full alarm system with all I want plus the option to add the modules for the windows,mirrors.Etc. but on top of the $700 price I would have to spend extra on that plus ignition module, steering lock, etc.
What do you guys think would be the best system taking into consideration price, reliability, secureness, and user friendly? Also the time and effort to find a way to install it into the truck. I have found Zero installation examples on our tundras so far... Help!!!!!
Here is my research:
-EasyGO AM-TUN-CHR Smart Key Remote Start and Alarm System with Chrome Driver's Door Handle for Toyota Tundra: $599 + require ignition bypass and other modules
iKey RS $699 + require ignition bypass and other modules
AK-104B (105b) ? $350+40 for window module + require ignition bypass and other modules
