I'm replacing my ball joints tomorrow and I have everything figured out except for how to put the stock arm back on the ball joint bolt. Do I just slide the bolt through the hole in the arm and use an impact to tighten nut and force the arm down until I can see the little hole in the bolt for the pin? I hope that makes sense. Thanks for your help!

Upper ball joint I'm assuming? If so, then thats pretty much it. You really wont need the impact to tighten it down, regular hand tools should do the job just fine. Tighten to within 10 ft/lbs of spec, then turn as needed to line-up the cotter pin hole.
