Ok so i have a 03 V6(not trd) and i have 3 noob questions...

How big of a tire can you run off the stock rims?
How big of a tire can you run without any lift?
and finally, how big of a lift would i need to run a set of 33" 12.50 BFG MT/KM's?

Thanks,
Jesse

My truck is stock height and I haven't run tires larger than stock, but I think 265/75/16 is the largest you can go without a lift and not have problems with tire rub. I think you could go a bit bigger than that using your stock wheels if you had some suspension lift (like maybe 285 width would be OK on your stock wheels).

As for how much lift to fit 33x12.5s, I keep hearing 3" of suspension lift and 3" of body lift, or some such combination to achieve six inches.

I have 32X11.50s on my stock rims. My friend had 32x11.50's with no lift and barely any rub. I have seen lots of people with 33x12.50's with 3 inches of lift.

I have 3.5 lift with 33x12.5, and the front rubs very little. Only if I have the wheels tweaked all the way L or R, and the tire is stuffed-up. Nothing to be concerned with so far.
