Before 1995, Toyota's had R12 refrigerant in the A/C system. Newer vehicles use R134. R12 requires an EPA license to purchase and is very expensive. R134 can be purchased at most auto parts store.

Took all of the A/C connections apart and replaced all of the o-rings. Wasn't too bad. Just waiting on a new hose from Toyota then I can recharge the system. We'll see how it works.
