I've been working on my front bumper for a few days now, and it's finally starting to look like a bumper.

Here are some cellphone pics of where I'm at.

tomorrow I'm taking it off to finish up some welds and then clean it up a bit.
I'm adding plate to the front and sides, like the 2nd gen all pro hybrid, and a hitch receiver in the middle for winching some day.

More to come!

looks good! are you going to cover up the middle section with a plate so you can protect your A/C condensor and your radiator from damage?

ignore that, didnt see that you had already mentioned it!

thanks man, I'm hoping to get the side pieces on and braced tomorrow, and maybe get some light tabs built.

Not sure if I should bolt the plate to the front or weld it...

side supports went on today.

Should I make tabs, and bolt the plate on, or weld it on?

my vote is for tabs and have some alluminum cut and bent for the panels. it would look sick on your silver truck and keep the weight down a tiny bit.

You could use the aluminum idea ... and paint the aluminum black.

Couldnt make it out in the pics but are you planning to tie the ends of the bumper in to the oe bumper mount on the body mount? Would be a good idea.

yup, thats exactly what I did.

the round tube going on an angle goes to the outer most part of the bumper, and then to my mounting plates
