The trail toy is 83 toy 22r - I am having overheating issues and believe it is the radiator........
I have heard that some of the 80's-90's? V-6 radiators mount up perfectly to the early 80's toy 4cyl.
Anyone know exactly what years these V-6's are? My buddy is running a V-6 rad. out of a 4runner (he doesn't know the year) and it mounts up perfect to his 82.
Thanks, Trevor

(btw-I am currently running an elec. fan that barely fits, which if I go to a V-6 rad. would be forced to use the stock fan)

most 4wd Toy trucks share the same radiator, the largest possible tha can fit cool your truck, but consider an aluminum aftermarket HD radiator
I am sure you can call around your area and find a radiator repair shop to order you one
the only difference is wether it is plumbed for a auto-tranny cooler for the automatic transmissions

My cousin used to own my 86' before me and he always had overheating problems so he put in a different radiator Im not totally sure but everything about it looked toyota and it fit right so I always assumed that It was a radiator from a toyota diesel pickup of about the same year. Becuase diesels should need a larger radiator or at least a lot of the ones ive seen have larger radiators...
