Yes, I'm going to express my ignorance on the many many topics I see on here. I'm so far from a gear head it's scary. I come from a long line of "If it's fixed, i'll find a way to break it".

Any suggestions for noobs? (ie dictionary or a greasemonkey-to-english translator)

My flame suit is on...so torch away if you must...

Just hang around here and some of the other message boards long enough and ask questions if you don't know something. We all know different levels and learned. I learned by working on an FJ40 Landcruiser then got my Tacoma and it is an entirely different animal, and always learning.

My suggestion is to read read read... and then read some more. :D Questions are good, but try to find information for yourself first, and if you can't find your answer, then post your question(s). People on forums such as this get tired of seeing the same questions posted over and over again by people who obviously have not taken any time whatsoever to look for the answer(s) first. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm much more helpful to those that help themselves. The search function is a great tool, and can help you find answers to many questions. Google is also your friend. :)

Reading and searching are the best things you can do. If you need a quick answer or are having a moment of laziness, PM or e-mail someone that you think is n00b friendly and knowlegable. If it is a good technical question, go ahead and post it.
