if i dont want to rub my caliper which situation would be better. 15x8 with 3.75bs or 16x8 with 4.25 bs. i know the bigger the number the closer it is to the caliper but just wanted to see what you thought. the guy at 4wp talked me out of the 15x8 into the 16x8 but now i think about it , it doesnt make sense, dont i want the smaller backspacing??

it was the rockcrawler 51's with the 'D' window. which i know are a nightmare, but im considering getting some .25 inch wheels spacers from pepboys to help clear.

I had the same problem with my us 84s, and like he said it's not the backspacing but the design overall. I took off a very small amount of the caliper with a dremel. I'm not suggesting you do this b/c I dont know if it's a problem but I haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood). But I think if you keep what you take off to a very small amount it should be fine. good luck
