i have been lead to beleive that i have a standard rotation 8in rear end how can i tell its a 1997 tacoma ex cab sr5 no locker v6 4x4

no got elocker? then you have the non-trd or open "8.4" rear.

what lockers or limited slip do they offer for this rear end i blew up the four gears they make it an open diff not sure what they are called and im thinkin a locker spool or limited slip will fix my problem correct me if im wrong

They are called Spider Gears.

Dude, go to grammar school. If you really do own "Big Nasty Kustoms" I sure hope you can spell on your invoices!

A "Lunchbox locker" will solve your problem. I would check the ring and pinion and your bearings for any damage. Any particles that can get in there from blowing the spider gears will also ruin those.
