This is the only one I've ever seen. I think it's too expensive and on top of that requires too much junkyard hunting for many people to have tried it.

Unfortunately my passenger rear tire wobbles like its bent. I'm afraid to think I may be headed down this road soon.
There's hundreds of these kits there at this time. And we are sourcing a number of the used components as well. If you need us too, we can supply every last piece and parts you'll need to complete this conversion.

In his defense, his is a full floater conversion as well as disk brakes. I believe the others sited are just disc brake only. I believe.

i'm running the sky set up,its real nice and simple, and about $400,hes also working on an t/c ebrake for the taco case too, hardest thing is cutting the backing plates off the drum set up but then your golden and your spare axle takes up alot less room without that drum and plate on there, brians is nice if your wanting the full float, and all toyota is sweet too, but i have chevy front and rear now so it dont matter

thats an awesome product Brian...but its too damn expensive....just too expensive...
Well, 7 bills get you the kit, including new shafts and disk mounts. Most folks spend about 500 to complete the setup.

To compare, figure 400 for cromo rear shafts (we'll be stocking these soon) and other disk stuff. Then a larger master to make those monsterous chev calipers try to work... Oh ya, no ebrake, and semi float.

Comes down to what you want. I personally hate semi float axle designs. I want something more reliable, and less relying on everything to be good for the truck to roll. Ive had enough friends loose wheel/tire/axle assemblies going down the road. Ive had enough times of broken shafts causing rigs to be stranded. Thats why I run a FF on a rig thats trailered. But some folks cant justify the FF, which is why we'll be carrying cromo semi floats, for those folks.

Front Range I'm right there with you on that note. I have seen alot of rigs break a semi float and the axle just walks right out, sometimes with the driver knowing it.

Thats the reason I choose to run a FF Dana 60 rear, snap an axle no big deal unbolt the 8 flange bolts throw another one in and go. And never even have to jack up the truck.

I did a rear disc brake conversion on it. Really straight forward. I bought the brackets off ebay. The company that I purchased from sent me a list of all the hardware that I needed to complete the job and where to buy it all. About $200 later I had disc brakes on the rear.
