Finally found some time to start on my rear bumper, and to redo my shackles and hangers. I'm using an old slider for a rear bumper.. Looks good in my opinion, luckily my opinion is the only on that matters haha. I also flipped my tow hitch for a little extra ground clearance. I don't really tow much so I don't see this being a future issue.

And yes I know I need to finish my bed basket, that will hopefully be this week...

Don't forget to triangulate some braces to the tow hitch area.
Even though you may not tow much, you may need it one day.
And it is better safe than sorry... can't wait to see the progress.

It's a Class III tow hitch flipped upside down... How about I add some gussets to the upper shackle pivot points instead. LOL

Yup for the shackles, Trying to keep the height down after the chevy 63 swap. If I would have left the stock mount or just moved it back to get the height i wanted would have left me with a 1.5 inch shackle.

Ya'll ever get to the point where nothing you fix on your rig works right... Im about to tear it all out and throw some I beams and link the rear.... I HATE LEAF SPRINGS!
