i've been hearing this clank coming from my rear. it happens every time I start off from a stop. it sometimes does it when i accelerate from a slow turn (like into a neighborhood). at first i thought it was my hi-lift clanking around on my bed bar. but i had a friend drive for me while i looked underneath my truck and it turns out it's coming from the right rear. problem is i have no idea what it could be. yesterday i checked and made sure bolts were tight (shakle bolts, leaf spring bolts, shocks) any other things that could be causing this anoying clank. it' so loud I can hear it over my music.....

I'm curious as to how you looked at it while your friend was driving it...
since it happens right when the truck is starting off from a stop. i had him start of slowly while i kneeled down and crept along side to listen......obviously i couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the noise...but the general area was definitely the right rear..... and by kneeling down i knew for certain it wasn't coming from my bed bar/hi/lift....
