I have to say after reading about some people's problems with their Tacomas on here that I have never realld had any mechanical issues with my truck at all other than a squeak here or there. I feel sorry for anyne who does, but overall, those Japs make one fine truck!

Not sure about the '05 trucks, but up through '04 they were put together in Fremont, CA.

Hmmmm....... too funny....

Most of the problems seem to with the US made/designed portions of the truck....

Which, I believe, is just about everything except the motor, tranny, and maybe the rear axle....How many problems have you heard about concerning those components vs the rest of the truck?....LOL

You have to keep in mind that the VAST majority of people on this board have modified their vehicles and that most of the problems you are reading about are most likely related in one way or another to those modifications.

Speaking of systems...I have a MMATS amp and for some reason when it's really cold I lose all power to my left speaker...but only when it's really cold. Have any idea what could cause that?
