Hi all,

Does anyone know what's under the plastic trim around the wheel wells on an 01-04 taco? I'm thinking about taking mine off, but I wanted to make sure it looks good under there before I do. It looks like they pretty much just pop off, and are attached only inside the wheel wells...Is this right?? Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations? They'd be much appreciated.

youl have some holes, 5-6 i think its about the size of a pencil eraser

thats actually not that bad looking ... gives it a kind of rugged machine look. the only concern i might have is rust forming inside those holes, since i'm guess the inside edge is just bare. i could just be overly paranoid, but when you grow up in the midwest you try and fight rust like its the plague.

i'm pretty envious of that ... no new rust since i bought the truck but the previous owner wasn't so lucky ... but you'll be hard pressed to find a vehicle with no rust in ohio.
