i want to get rid of my stock antenna. is there a direct aftermarket replacement that is shorter and possibly rubber ? will i need an adaptor and if so does anyone have the part number. i thought i saw some type of screw in adaptor on here once before. thanks for all input.

I have seen some. I have a short antenna made of metal and I used to have a rubber antenna. I got both from Ebay and they came with the adapters
