Hey guys, I was looking into the Revtek lift for my 03 tacoma. I tried searching around but couldn't really find much on this. The front is pretty straight forward, but I don't like the blocks that come with the kit. At rocky mountain suspension I can get just the 3 inch front kit.

My question is what do I use on the rear. I figured an add-a-leaf, but what brand? and where can I get one. I also have read something about a proportion valve bracket, do I need this, and where I can get this also. This is my first toyota and I'm used to to Chevy's where the proportioning valve is up front.

So if someone could list all the parts I need to lift the rear 3 inches I would greatly appreciate it. and possibly where i can get them.

Thanks guys,
Ryan

My first suggestion is to use the search function. Second suggestion is to read thru any number of posts in the suspension folder (where this thread belongs, by the way) to find out what other people who have 3" lifts up front are running for lift in the rear. Lastly, I suggest listing your budget and needs. For example, what kind of offroading, if any, do you do? Do you tow or haul much with your truck? Do you care about ride quality?

If you want to maintain the stock appearance (slightly tail-high) to get 3" of lift, you could go with the Deaver 3-leaf AAL (expensive), combination of AAL and mild lift shackles. You could also get custom leaf packs (again, expensive). To have your truck sit level, look at lifting the rear around 2". The BPV bracket may come with whatever rear lift you get. If not, you can make one out of plate steel. Again, search on here, there's plenty of discussions about the BPV bracket. You can also run a Google search for "BPV+tacoma" for some write-ups. Hit the "image search" link on your initial results to find a pic of the BPV bracket. You'll see that it's something you could make yourself in about 10 minutes.

I ordered my revtek kit from Rocky Mount. Susp. and got a Fabtech add a leaf instead of the rear blocks. Just call them up and talk to them. They will get you the right add a leaf for your truck. Awesome people there. I actually drove down there and got my lift so I got to meet them in person.
