I have a 99 4x4 TRD with 33x12.5 tires on the stock 15x7 rims. Also I have 3" suspension lift on the way. I would like to find a nice set of rims (15x8) that wouldn't make the tires stick out much farther from the fenders than stock. I know that they would stick out a little farther because of the wider rim, but I would also like to have the least amount of rubbing possible, once I get the lift on. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yeah, I've got 33's with out a lift, but it's only been off the road once since they've been on there, but like I said the lift is on the way. They were supposed to go on at the same time, but things didn't work out that way. Thanks for the help.

Dude!? 33x12.50's with no lift! I've got to know how you pulled that one off, or do you just rub like crazy? Also, I'm assuming now that it's possible, but I've got to ask, is it possible to fit 32x11.50's on a 15x7 rim? Oh, and will it rub horribly with no lift? Thanx.

My 33x12.5's are on 15x7 rims right now and fit just fine, so I would assume that the 32x11.5's would fit on the rims as well. Yeah, I do rub, but not as bad as I thought...but I do have a lift on the way. Also, I haven't gotten a chance to take it off road much, only once in the snow. Anyway, I flattened the pinch welds and smoothed the plastic out that was over them and took the mudflaps off. I'm sure you would rub some without a lift though.

I see that some people have trouble with fitment issues on 15" rims...is this because they had the 16's and are downsizing to 15's (the brake rotor/assembly is larger on models with factory 16" rims) or for other reasons, and will I have any of these issues?

Yeah, I've got a 3" lift I have to put on. So I should be okay. I was just debating on having to replace the rims. So, that's cleared up. Thanx. :welder:

I was running 15x8" Rockcrawler rims with the 3.75" bs/ProComp 33" MT's
I am now running 35" Wrangler MTRs on 15x10 Rockcrawlers with same bs
However, the new rims center holes were stamped/punched differently and they had quite an inner lip that rubbed my front disc calipers and had to be ground down and the calipers were ground a bit as well
BTW, have you thought about helping Berry in INDy with the IN TTORA state chapter reformation?
email m, I will forward it to him

do you know of any 15x8s w/ 4.0 backspacing? ive been lookin to find some for a while but i cant find it...i want the holey design similar to the wheelers offroad steelies or bajas or eagle 589s but i cant seem to find them anywhere. i currently have 15x8s w/3.75 and that sticks a bit far out for my taste (i do not have fender flares)...lookin to get new ones since one of my wheels cracked so im runnin on my spare right now.

Do a google search for US wheels. I did a few days ago and pulled up a sight that i believe will get you the wheels in any back space you want.

If you do have the black fender flares, how much backspacing would you need on an 8" rim to have them stick out as far as the flares or even like .25" more then the flares? I'm sick of my taco looking so skinny. Does anyone have a picture of 16x8 with 3.50" or 3.75" BS?
