i ordered cragars 15x8 black steel wheels for my 97 tacoma with a 4 inch offset..

well they rub so i was wondering what offset is needed to clear the calipers

Those rims don't have a 4" offset, they have 4" backspacing. And the backspacing isn't your issue if your rubbing the caliper. Its the wheel offset or the rim design. What part of the caliper are you rubbing? Check the FAQ for help with rims that fit.

Take a grinder too the calipers...I have Helo Maxx 6 on my truck.They rubbed on the calipers,but with a little grinding , problem solved...........

yea i dont want to use wheel spacers or grind on the calipers..so i sent them back and emailed cragar to see if they made that type with a diffrent backspace or if they could custom make me a rim...so im still waiting for the reply
