Hey guys....the search thingy on www.pirate4x4.com is down and I didn't find anything here. I have a 1998 3.4L X-Cab....I've looked on www.aor4x4.com , www.marlincrawler.com , www.allprooffroad.com and I can't seem to find Rock sliders that fit this vehicle? The only place I found them was on www.aor4x4.com , but it was the U-Weld-Design where everything comes in pieces. I'm looking for the bars that are all put together and you just weld them to the frame.

I'm also looking for aftermarket crossmembers for the same vehicle!

Any pics would be great too! :)

Thanks,
Kaleo

Dude get them from AJ. He is a cool person and while he is putting them on, u get to have a beer or two - check out other trucks and get ideas and just basically fawk around. I am planning on going up there on the 2nd to get my back bumper. If you want to do it then we can roll over there and get it done. I gotto call him - Hope he answers. Try giving him a call see when you can get them. He is hard to get a hold of - but once you do get a hold of him, you are in business. Try calling him after 6PM or so. Thats when he gets off work or thats what he told me.

Crossmembers:

We will have pics up of our new crossmembers and skids soon. Will be available for single and dual cases, clocked or not. Will have the option of a narrow skid or a full bellypan. :)
Sorry for the tease, just working hard and long hours right now and not able to get the pics up fast enough. :(

Yah. Got the Double Square ones bolt on. Gotto paint them still.
Too late I guess, AJ's measurements are little on the short side for the length so that was my only complaint with my sliders...given I got them for free or 50$ worth of raffle tickets :D . He customs makes all his stuff he can always make them a little longer.

Kaleo,

Just my .02 cents. Demello makes some nice cool lookin stuff but they are a bit pricey and not local. go to AJ and he'll install the $hit for you. Either way, you gonna fawk 'em up anyway. They all have the same function

are you going to be making a crossmember/skid for Jim's new crawlers? He should have mine done in a month or so and I'll need one. ;)

I saw that you are going to get a crawler from Jim. What is the story with that. Details my friend, details.

Tim
the v6 model is currently going through testing on Tim's (I think) truck. the input shaft for the 4-banger is different so he had to have a special one made for mine. the unit can be clocked to any angle. If you have a BL it can be leveled with the frame rails with a straight skid from frame to frame, cool huh? ;)

he keeps telling me "soon" , LOL
He also has 3 different ratios available rather than the usual 2. but, I understand there have been some issues with the new 5.0 gears so I'll stick with the 4.7s.
