I have a 2004 Tacoma XtraCab and I want to have a roll cage professionally installed. Is there anyone within 100 miles of Sacramento, CA who can fabricate something like that?

Also, is it possible to leave the interior largely intact, or will it need to be stripped? How much should something like this cost, assuming it's a really high-quality job? Thanks for the help!

Just get that ORD in cab cage. Trust me, it is not easy to make an in cab cage, and you wouldn't want to pay someone to do it. Just buy their cage for $900 some bucks and be done with it. I think you would probably have to take out the sun visors, not sure about anything else.

Just my opinion, it would be easier to buy a prebuilt cage than get someone to make one, because your truck would be in the shop for a few days if not over a week to put an interior cage in it and make it strong.

If you're looking for a goo dfab shop around the Sac area, I'd say go to Bentup. They are either in or very close to Sacramento and could probably build what you're looking for. Check theyre website bentup.com for more info and stuff.

Thanks for the help! Does anyone know anyone with a full roll-cage in a new Tacoma? Do you think I'll be able to keep my interior intact, or will I need to strip it? Is there anyone reading this who can give me some pointers or advice? Thanks

Its hard to do a “REAL” cage and keep the interior. There are some cages that go around the dash and bolt to the floor that keep the interior mostly intact but they don’t have the structural integrity of a real cage that attaches to the body and the frame (note the webbing between the A pillars and the cage in the links below).
The cage below goes from front to rear bumper, is entirely TIG welded, attaches to the frame in 10 places and is webbed to the body, as you can see at this pint it is easier to do new custom interior (note headliner) than make the old stuff fit. This cage adds to the body integrity, many cages tend to hurt the body integrity. This truck was flipped on it roof at one point and the body was totally fine, no glass broke, the doors all closed perfect and lined up perfect. We just had the roof reskinned and it was as good as new thanks to the cage design. A cage of this caliber costs about $15,000 before it goes to the upholstery shop for head liners and interior.

Were a little farther than 100miles but we can do a custom cage. Cost would be between 3k-? This is a complete to the frame and webbed into the body cage.

Just curious, is that price for in-cab only (no bed, engine) and inclusive of metal costs?
