rough country shocks? any good???

does anyone know if these are a decent shock. i got them offered to me for a good price and was wondering if anyone has used them.i want something not as good as Bilstein but not as bad as a Rancho so im hoping this is a nice middleground. anyone used them before???

Rough Country are just plain old truck shocks. If you want something in between Bilstein and Rancho get KYBs. Rough County are either even or below Rancho in my book. Why don't you want Bilsteins???

too expensive and hard to find right now, ill ck out the KYB's if you think their a good middle ground.

I would get rancho over a rough country anyday. I run rancho 5000's in the rear they are an OK shock for a Tacoma with only a $40 price tag. Of course their not bilstein's but I never was to picky on the luxury ride.

if i go with the KYB's does anyone know which model for a 3" front spacer lift and 2" AAL in rear? i tried finding specs on them and cant find any.

I have them, and they suck. They are the wrong size for my truck. Fully compressed I still have 2-3" before I hit the bump stop. I can't want to see them go in the dumpster. They ride fine to me, if you decide on them make sure to get the right size.
