Where were you a year and half ago.
Were is the part about fighting the damn power antenna with that overly think rubber tube they ship you.

BTW you may want to add in there somewhere to put a little lube of some sort on that previously mentioned rubber tube to get it to slip on easier. It also helps if it's done on a warmer day as the parts will be more pliable and easier to work with.

Cute writeup.

Try installing a snorkle without a template if you want some excitement.

I recommend disconnecting the antenna wire completely so it is not accidentally cut when you drill into the fender.

I just finished my article on the Safari Snorkel install. An easy mod, but takes some commitment to drill a 3 1/4" hole in your fender

Thought some of you would like to check it out...

And some cool valve caps I am now using:

Awesome writeup, thanks! I'll be installing a snorkel in the next couple weeks so I can run the Fordyce trail this summer.

:lmao: What no more Antibling, Mike? You need me to loan you some gold paint to go along with that snorkle there pard?
There will never be any gold paint anywhere near my truck. Snorkel's aren't bling, they are functional.

Now a fake stick-on chrome snorkel would be bling! :D

The Snorkel is actually made to weep water at the bottom of the scoop where it connects to the main tube.

Snorkels are chick magnets:D

This may be a stupid question.... Based on the looks from the picture, i thought of this question. So if you have a snorkel and you are drive on the freeway during a heavy rain wouldn't water get into the intake?
