Has any one put a shift light in the truck without puting in a tach. I would like to put in a shift light. Need to know how to wire it up.

look at summit racing and go to guages. have all kinds of lights.

I used to have an Autometer shift light in my Mustang. It comes with chips that you plug into it- the come in different RPMs.
I don't exactly remember how I wired it up- but I remember the hardest part was figuring out where to mount it. It was an easy job- just don't remember the specifics.
