Just wondering if I where to get one of the ubolt flip kits (currently looking at the rockstomper one) would I have to weld different mounts for the axle or can I just use the flip kits mounts for the shocks?

just go to any parts store and buy some round u bolts(3" i think) and just use a piece of 1/4" with 4 holes for the plate on top of the leafs. and then just weld on some shock tabs http://www.aa-mfg.com/pdshop/shop/category.asp

I remember seeing a writeup on a webpage where someone used a U bolt flip kit and then used the stock mounts after they were flipped. It worked, but it severly limited any flex because the shock mounts had then moved up above the axle and the shocks severely limited any sort of travel because of the higher mount.
