Are all of the side view mirrors the same for a given year and power congig (ie manual instead of power). I am asking because I need to replace my drivers side mirror (torn off by a tree). On ebay I can get one for about $30 shipped but for some reason they say w/o off road package. What gives, arent they the same? Also, is the mirror convex?

It will also depend on if you have power mirrors as well.. There are 3 types of mirrors for our trucks......One Is long and can move manually by hand on the out side of the cab(95-99 models)...one is stationary only the mirror part moves with a little handle on the inside by the door(2000 and up models), the third one is one that is a powered mirror

I'm pretty sure that any year Tacoma (pre-05) mirrors will bolt up just fine. If you switch styles (inside adjusting manual to outside adjusting manual) you would also have to switch out the inner trim panel (triangle shape at front of window), but that's about it.
