I'm in a bit of a personal dilemma over these things...

When you have your window down an inch or so:

1) Are they any good at keeping out the rain?

2) Do they cut down on wind noise? Or make it worse?

3) Do they add wind noise when the window is all the way up or down?

4) If you could do it all over, would you do it again?

Thanks.

It rains here in Or. all the time and I like the deflectors I have on my Tacoma for keeping the rain out. I haven't really paid any attention to wind noise, though.

1)... Yes... They keep the water from the roof from dripping in as well...

2)... If there's any noise associated... I really don't notice it...

3)... Wind noise is going to exist with or without them...

4)... This is my second set on a different rig... so yeah...

And lastly... they're cheap as hell... Buy them... and if you don't like them... throw them away... simple

I've had window vent visors / deflectors on 3 Toyota trucks, and I consider them a standard accessory. Different brands / models have different sizes and contours, so the amount of 'window crack' coverage may vary among them.

I've never noticed a difference in wind noise with / without visors with the window cracked or with the window rolled up. However, there may be slight differences relating to the differences in brands / models.

I love 'em. Keeps the rain out, works great during the summer= leave the window cracked w/o attracting too much attention...If you drive a truck wind noise is always there IMO...I have had them on three trucks, a Cherokee, the wife's Venture and now her camry...cheap and well worth it...buy some...If they can be consider a 'mod' (used very loosely) it is one of the first things I get for a vehicle
