I have pretty much stock 00' v-6 Ex cab. After I put my sliders on I noticed a lot of squeaking inside the cab when I went over any rough surface. I'm thinking the sliders stiffened up the frame so the truck is not flexing like it use to? Anyone experience anything similar?

The first Passeio (Trail ride focused on navigation) I went on the sliders saved me some body work. I made contact pretty hard several times. I will not be taking them off.
Oh and a shout out to CBI for the sliders.

My vote is for are they too close to the pinch weld as well.

When I installed mine i left about 1/4 gab between them and the pinch. that way when they are in use any upward flex gets supported by the pinch and doesn't put as much strain on the frame where i welded them

Oh and it was enough of a gap that they don't touch without upward force on the slider

They are bolt on's. Not sure what the exact clearance is on the pinch weld but it is more than a 1/4 inch.

Mine rubbed clearance into the pinch welds after a few good rounds of use and stopped "chattering"
