I had a very noticeable puff of white smoke when I accelerated today. was not floored but was accelerating quickly. Someone I knew was behind me and they mentioned it to me later. Pretty good size cloud. Its kind of cold and rainy today but had driven the trunk a few miles when it happened and it was only parked for 15 minutes prior.

Also noticed the other day at the car wash that I have a lot of black exhaust buildup on the bottom of the fender behind the exhaust pipe.

Any one else have these problems or should I take to dealer?

Thanks in advance.

Just moisture and soot. Mine has a lot of soot also. Now if it blows white smoke all the time, it's a head gasket.

mine has a ton of soot also, 6700 miles.
Seems to run rich in the idle circuit, when the truck is cold. Other peeps confirming this in another post also.
