I want to ask him how he plans to deal with the 11,000 UAW workers that are losing their jobs at Chrysler.
I suppose he's hoping the American taxpayer (all the rest of us) will get stuck with saving their worthless asses from starvation again. Afterall, it's free money, right, so why not? We may as well throw the rest of our jobs down the same shit hole.

That's right, the union memebers that have been paying their dues get shafted. Oh, but the union bosses, they'll probably get a bonus for cutting a deal and keeping their claws in Chrysler.

Just keep paying those dues Union boys. ;)

You hit the nail on the head!!!!! It goes much deeper than that!!!
The union is a business like any other! They don't give a flying fuck about you, they'll go and unionize a casino to cover the jobs they loose in the auto sector. I hate unions!
Well gotta go to work! LOL

You talking about me, Dick????

My job is secure, thats all I care about.

Fuck, I can barely get time off for wheeling trips, we are do damn busy.

Long live my union, and my union brothers and sisters. And my union salary, and my excellent benefits, and my vacation pay, and my vision plan, and my health plan, and my dental plan.....and my retirement plan, and my pension plan. Now go find all those plans in a SCAB job.

Did I say union fuckstick? No I didn't. I said union man so that ain't you.
I was fishing for that other union fuckstick. The one that was just telling me the other day why the unions are so great for us and the autoworkers of America. The soon to be unemployed autoworkers of America so I guess they won't be autoworkers any more. The ones that will be wondering where their next meal is coming from in the very near future when they finally get it through their thick skulls that the union isn't gonna be feeding them and the damn demo commies aren't either. That union man. It's just not your turn for the reality lesson yet, but it will come. Just be patient. I hope for your sake you got something other than a union plan working for your retirement.

Actually Dick, I'm glad your concerned about my future.

And yes, thanks to my divorce, my ex-sugarmomma handed me over $100k in 401k alone. That along with my 30 year pension should pay me more then I will be making at the time I retire.

And good luck shutting down union work (like I do) cause its all prevailing wage based, therefore, union or not, I will have to get union scale by law. In other words, if your conspiracy theory WERE to happen, I would still get the same amount of $$$$$ in my wallet, and extra to compensate for benefits. :D

How do you figure it is all prevailing wage? Do your skills only apply to public sector, competitive bid work? Or is this some kind of gay ass California thing?

I don't know what SCAB means, but I've got all of that, plus probably more, and a gym, and I'm not a member of a union.

First off he wasn't using scab in the proper context. A scab is someone who chooses to cross a union picket line and work for an employer during a strike by union workers. It doesn't have anything to do with having a union or nonunion job. I suppose you could more properly call a non union worker a free person as most if not all unions would choose to limit your freedom by requiring union membership in order to gain employment. They call that a closed shop state. In other words they want to control you, limit your freedom and deny you your right to choose and steal your money. I use the word steal because if you don't have the right to choose or give by choice, then the act of taking money from someone constitutes a theft.
Many states are known as open shop or right to work states where your right to make a free choice in gaining employment in any job, with any employer in any occupation without the prerequisite if joining a union is upheld by the force of law as it should be.

I have no real problem with unions as long as the right of the individual to work and earn a living without needing to join a union is upheld in every part of this country. It's the concepts of freedom and liberty that made this country great and allowed us to become the nation we are not unions.

The more our freedoms and liberty are curtailed, limited and in some case removed all together, the weaker we become as a whole and the sooner the inevitable collapse of our society will come. Remember that absolute power corrupts absolutely so everything must be held answerable to a system of checks and balances if you want to achieve overall long term success as a free nation and society.

As for myself, I choose to be no one's slave. I imagine that a union worker of today would be quite happy content being a slave in the old south. The slaves had complete job security along with free room and board. However, they did have to work for it, free loading wasn't tolerated.

One should always give very serious consideration when they are being asked to trade their freedom for security. It may very will be the last free choice you'll ever be allowed to make. That goes for much more than just the union issue but the way unions are in some states, they are certainly part of it. There in nothing in socialist or communist doctrine that address the freedom and liberty of individuals other than to curtail them. They only concern the whole and the absolute power of the whole over the individual. So far everytime either form of government has been tried, they have not withstood the test of time and everytime a free society and culture slips in that direction, that society soon weakens and collapses under it's own weight or is unable, unwilling and too weak to fight off invasion. Sound familiar?
