Well the past week or so I noticed that my truck hasn't been as responsive as it was previously say within the past 6 months or so. Also it could be my imagination but the Supercharger when its boosting doesnt sound as loud as it did before, while the boost gauge registers around the same amount it always has, how accurate it is though is another geuss.
I've got 61k on it and have had the blower for just around 30k miles, some guys at CT suggested that it was signs of the cat melting... However I don't run a cat converter because of all the previous problems I had with it, so I know its not that and I've been running it that way with the O2 sim from Gadget and it ran like a champ for around a year now. The exhaust loudness is exactly the same as before, its just the whine from the super charger that seems to be softer. I don't really know whats wrong if its the blower itself someother compounding problem, its getting me very perturbed. My first geusses are tranny or the blower. Could the decrease in the whine be attributed to time and a natural occurance? But at the moment I'm at a loss...I'd appreciate any insight

I had the same description you just gave minus the blower noise being quieter but I cleaned the M A F and its 100% back to normal, buy some electronic safe cleaner and clean not only the red sensor but the wire hidden inside(deep) the mass air flow sensor, at least try it for 5 dollars, let me know how it goes.

If your boost psi is the same and the truck performs the same then I wouldn't worry about it. I read your post on CT also and you haven't come up with anything that the truck is doing that is negative. Again, I wouldn't worry. My .02

Actually the whole reason I'm worried is that its not as responsive nor does it have that kick anymore. I couldn't care less if it makes the noise. I have to give it A LOT more throttle now to get the same response that I used to get with just blips. I geuss I didn't specify that clear enough. I thought saying it wasn't as responsive would have taken it. Doesn't have the same pull on the freeway either.

Sorry, I didn't catch the less responsive statement. Try cleaning the MAF as stated above, make sure the plugs are OK, check the airfilter and the fuel filter. I find that I will be looking for "big" things wrong and tend to skip over the more obvious little things.

Alright I'm going to try that the first chance I get. I forgot about checking the plugs and I'll try and concentrate on the smaller things. Thanks for the insight man. I'm always worring about the worst scenario with this truck. I've had so much warranty work done on it, it should have been a lemon long ago. My fuel filter is pretty new less than 10k on it but never hurts to check it.
I may have some questions later in the next couple months for you on the fuel mods and how you have everything set up and being all the way out here I need all the tips I can get. I'm almost certainly going to go that route now as far as fuel upgrades. Thanks again for the help I really appreciate it.
