Man I am glad I have not ran across any yet! The loggin at my hunting club brought some out but that has been it. Luckily they were squashed on the road! Got a couple rounds of snake shot in the .38 for good measures! Heard they are good eating though.

HAHA I seen that picture the other day and was told it was shot on dayton mountain. There is no telling where that picture is from.

Seems from my quick "google-fu" research that the worlds largest recorded rattlesnake was 8ft 1 inch in length.

The scary thing is, the snake isn't that old. I wonder how old the oldest one on record is? I got one w/17 rattles.

Nah, I doubt it's fake. Many years ago I shot one about 6ft long on our property near Milledgeville. I held him up vertical and he was a tall as I was.

my guess says FAKE, just like the Hogzilla pictures turned out to be.
