it doesnt seem like these installs would be terribly difficult. is there any links anybody knows of that walks you through them both. or can anybody enlighten me on the process? thanks
go to http://www.lieblweb.com and click on 2.5" spacer lift w/ aal rear on the bottom right of the page under 4x4 links and write ups. it has pics too.
It isn't too hard at all. One tip, use an impact wrench to take the nut off of the top of the strut when you cant use a wrench anymore. And, get a buddy or two to help put the strut back in place after the spacer is installed.
Just go to a shop and have them do the spacer install, less headache and a lot safer. Tyler (a.k.a. Showstop) helped me to install 2" spacers and it busted his Harbor Freight coil compressors. Having the shop to do it will probably cost about $30 per strut.
Does anyone know the part numbers of the Bilstein shocks that would be the replacement for the Rancho's on the lieblweb.com's 2.5" lift? I'm having a hard time figuring out which shocks are the correct fit. This is going on a 99 V6 TRD Xtracab.
I'm also still undecided if I should go for the 5100 or 5125's. I've also seen reference to some Bilstein-HD shocks -- what is the model number for these?
