Does anyone know what size speakers are in the 05 Tacoma double cab front and rear? Are they the same size as the 04? This is my first Tacoma and I have heard that there may be clearance issues with some speakers in the door. Are there particular brands that fit better than others? Appreciate some advice here.

as far as clearence issues go, you can fix that problem by using a spacer. on most toyotas like the taco, the factory setup even has a spacer. if you go with the standard 6.5" speaker, you will be able to find spacers anywhere from .5"-1.5". if you get an oversized 6.5" speaker you will have to make your own.
