v6, 97-2000 will fit for sure, automatic or 5 spd shouldnt matter

marlin wanted around $160 last time i checked (2yrs ago)...
since then i just have a permanent check engine light and a very good sense of speed via my rpm's.

damn, thats as much as toyota wants for a brand new one! i'm gonna shoot him an e-mail and see if he'll come down from $160.

i too have the everlasting ce light and a good sense of speed but i'd like to get my cruise control back sometime

i can see if it has the part you need

heres pics of where the sensor goes




theres 1 bolt that you have to remove to take it out. there is a gear on the end of the sensor

is that on the tranny or transfer case?
I only have a spare auto tranny, not transfer case
post a pic of the actual speed sensor, I will look at the tranny and see if it looks similar

its on the t-case, passenger side. i dont have a pic of the sensor since i dont have one. there is a gear on the end of it. if i were to remove the bolt in the pic and then pull the cover off, there would be a gaping hole, thats where the sensor goes.
