Hi guys,

last night I jumped on my brakes for the 3rd time since new. My truck has 55,000 miles on it. When I pulled the front brakes I noticed that the pads still had half of the life on them. The front end has been shuttering under braking, so I went ahead and had the rotors turned and put the old pads back on. On the back I replaced the shoes as thier was about 1/4 of pad left. I used the factory shoes, but did not have the drums turned. The truck is now driving smooth, but the brakes feel spongie? I did not break any lines, so I did not bleed the system? I noticed that the parking brake is real loose. I can pull it out all of the way with no effects. I proceded to pull the brake about 50 times in hopes that it might adjust the little wheel inside the drums in the back. It tightened up some, but again the brakes feel real spongie? Before this post gets so long that no one wants to read it, does anyone have any ideas?
