Spring Spacers W/ Spindle Lift

I need another inch of clearance for my front tires. I have a 3" fabtech spindle lift and I wanted to put a 1 1/2" spring spacer but the guy at the lift shop said spacers dont work well with lift spindles. Is this true? Anybody have this setup? :confused:

No, not coilovers, SPINDLE!! I have the stock springs and shocks. NO coilovers!
