How long did all your Stock batteries last before you had to replace them?

two years for me. I think it was an AC Delco.
I read someone on the board still had thier original battery in their 1996! but that is rare, for sure.

Haven't changed mine yet and its a 99. Soon as I can afford an Optima though, it's out of there.

Mine lasted almost 5 years to the day I bought my truck in 99. I now have an Optima Red top.

Stock battery in my 2000, with m8000 winch.

This one should make it through this winter at least, then going to an Optima Red/Yellow Top.

Mine lasted 2 years. My replacement DieHard battery lasted 4 years.

You guys should check out Odyssey batteries.

All I can say is that I have switched from Optimas to these.

I got mine from Discount Tire, but most autoparts stores have them.

2 years. Las Vegas with 120 degree summers will do that to your battery.

I just took mine out of my 99 last week. It was still working fine but I needed a little more juice for winching.

Knock on wood I still have the original in my 2000. I had an original battery in a 76 VW Rabbit last 11 years, that probably doesnt happen too often!

Costco has a better than stock battery for 40 bones... it's not an Optima, but unless you have a winch or shit load of lights, it hard to beat the price.
