I am deeply saddened today. Sunday night around 10pm my 84' Rockcrawler got ripped off The police found her 10am Monday. She was stripped to her frame. 9500i warn, oldman emu suspension, 170+hp LC Engineering motor that I built from the crank up, dual t's, custom drivelines, 33" BFG MT's, custom rock sliders, front and rear bumpers, everything is gone. She is now on her way to the scales ALL of the work was done with my hands.

He lives in Santa Cruz, CA

Here's a picture of it: Stolen/recovered rig

It'll be very difficult to recover the parts but, I'd thought I'd post up just in case.

Thanks!

Sucks to hear. I see these kinds of posts all the time on pirate. There is a huge market for this kind of stuff. It is next to impossible to track down those parts due to the volume of them. I am currently building a toy rock rig, and plan several antitheft devices. It will be a pain for me, but cheaper and easier than getting it stolen. Good Luck.

I had my (Stock) 2003 DC 4X4 stolen a week ago. Still MIA! I'm depressed.

I hate thieves. We need to go back to cutting the right hand off as a punishment for theft like they did and maybe still do in Arabia. Actually, vehicle theft could be equated to horse theft and that used to be a hanging offence in the west. It might just tend to slow it down a bit.

Why stop at cutting off their hands? Rip their heads off, fuck their neckholes, and toss the carcasses into a pit of rabid hyenas.

Public hanging would be great. Put it on pay-per-view and recover some of the legal costs. Don't stop at hanging though, people would eventually get bored. Mix it up with a firing squad, death by injection of corrosive chemicals, electrocution, etc.

I have to agree with you 100% since I am originally from Ca. and worked for Ca. Dept. of Corrections I got to see how pampered the low lifes were. They need to clean house on death row and make room for more. I think pay-per-view is a great idea with profits going to victims families.

I've always had a particular liking for the guillotine. It's got that nice little mix of suspense during the drop and drama when the head rolls along with just the right touch of technology going for it. It always seems to make for a great show.

Not to mention the fact that the brain will still be alive for a few minutes after the chop to process the event and take in the view of the basket

Thieves suck
