If I get swaybar disconnects for my taco and take it offroad, will the extra articulation on the IFS increase the risk of damage on the ball joints in the upper arm? My upper arm is already at a pretty good angle from my 2.5" of suspension and I know that the ball joints can fail if too much stress is put on them.

If you leave it connected all you are doing is placing the stress on the sway bar and slowly bending it to where it doesn't really do much anyway. I always disco mine, in fact I ran it disco'd for a few years even on the street becaue I have #650 coils up front and it doesn't sway very much.

Front Range Off-Road makes the slickest Tacoma disco's on the market!

I've had mine disconnected for a while now with the DRs, it rides better even on the street, hmm, I'll have to check the lower a arm greese, don't remember any zerks there but I would rather greese it than reconnect.
