Hi all,
Brand new to the community. I haven’t been in a Toyota forum since many years ago. I recently gathered up my old 98 Toyota Tacoma from my old man who I sold it to years ago. It had a few issues and he found something else. It’s been sitting for a while but I got it running and it does ok other than a bit rough at times(could very well be a fuel delivery or injector issue). I did notice the speedo/tach is dead part of the time. Any leads as to the most common cause? Something to look into? If there are already many threads on it just let me know and I’ll try a search.
Thanks

Speedo and tach get their data from different sensors. I'd suspect you have an issue with a wiring harness or with the gauge cluster itself. Check for loose connections and meter things out.
