I would like to buy a 2005 Tacoma but they do not have the 4dr 4X4 in Radiant Red in Canada. They do have that color in the U.S. . I would like to know the differences in the Canadian and U.S. models to determine if it is feasable to bring one over the border. Are there any differences??

The previous gen Canadian Tacos shared the same specs as California trucks (emissions wise). Whether that precluded previous gen Tacomas built for other US markets, I'm not sure. I saw a radiant red dub cab 4x4 here in Calgary with dealer plates on it, but that was months ago.

i was actually gonna do the same thing before i went with an 04. not sure about the differences though. the obvious one being the speedometer in miles rather than kilometres, also i think a canadian version comes with block heater. you'll also have to pay taxes on top of what you'll be paying in the u.s..

My appologies[/U], the color I am looking for it the Impulse Red not Radiant Red. That color is only available on the Tundra.
